Privacy Policy
Effective 14 September 2026
In short: your personal reminders are private. Family information is shared only with the family members you invite, and only to the extent the family owner allows. We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't use your health information for analytics.
Who we are
FamilyCare is provided by DueTrack ("we", "us"). Contact: duetrackbd@gmail.com.
Information we collect
- Account: your name, email address (or Apple's private relay address), the sign-in method you use (Apple or Google) and a user ID.
- Personal reminders: medicines, doses, schedules and whether you marked a dose taken, skipped or snoozed. Prescription photos you attach stay on your device; they are never uploaded.
- Prescription photos you attach to any medicine, personal or family, stay only on the iPhone where you took them. They are never uploaded to our servers or shared with your family.
- Family information you choose to enter: family name, members and roles, patient profiles (name, relationship, optional date of birth, emergency contact, notes), family medicines and schedules, dose confirmations, care tasks, comments, daily check-ins and optional readings you type in (such as blood pressure).
- Subscription: the plan, status, expiry date and App Store transaction identifiers. Payments are handled by Apple; we never receive your card details.
- Device and security: a push notification token so we can send reminders and family alerts, and a random install identifier recorded with dose changes so the family history can be trusted.
How we use it
- To remind you about your medicines and show your history.
- To share status, alerts, tasks and check-ins with the family members you invite, according to their permissions.
- To provide the family subscription and restore purchases.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and provide support.
FamilyCare does not diagnose, recommend doses or interpret readings.
Who can see your information
- You. Personal reminders are visible only to you, even if you join a family — unless you choose "Share with family" or "Copy to family care" for a specific reminder.
- Your family. The family owner decides, patient by patient, who can view, confirm doses, edit medicines or manage tasks. New members see nothing about patients until they are given access.
- Service providers that run FamilyCare for us: Google Firebase (authentication, database in the United States, cloud functions and notifications), Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store, push notifications), Google Sign-In, and Cloudflare (our internal support tools).
- Our support staff, only as needed to help you. Our admin tools show account and billing details and counts; they do not display patient names, medicine names, dose details or check-in messages.
- Authorities, only where required by law.
We do not sell or rent personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
Retention and deletion
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings › Delete account. This deletes your account, your personal reminders and history, and any family you own (including its patients, medicines and history). If you are a member of someone else's family, your membership and permissions are removed.
- App Store subscriptions must be cancelled separately in your Apple ID settings.
- Backups held by our providers are overwritten on their normal schedules.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or California law), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your information and to object to certain processing. You can export your data in Settings › Privacy & Sharing › Export my data, or contact us. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Access to family data is enforced on our servers by security rules, dose updates are kept in an audit history, and our staff tools use separate, limited credentials.
Children
FamilyCare is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where required). A parent or guardian may create a patient profile for a family member.
International transfers
Your information is stored in the United States and may be processed in other countries where our providers operate, with appropriate safeguards.
Changes
We'll update this page and, for material changes, tell you in the app before they take effect.
Medical disclaimer
FamilyCare is a reminder and family coordination tool, not a medical device. A "Taken" status is a confirmation from a person, not proof that a medicine was taken. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
